June 24th, 2007 11:29 PM #1I have just bought my first car (1985 MB 190e 2.3) last week. I love the solid build and quality of the car.
However, I have noticed that acceleration is slow, the blower is weak, and the ride is rough.
As for the ride, I dont know if it has something to do w/ the 17' mags or if the suspension is already worn out.
How can I boost the acceleration? Someone suggested that i replace the airlow sensor w/ the 450SE/SEL airflow sensor.
What can I do to boost the engine performance? Any suggestions? Tnx.

medyo mahina nga sa torque yung makina ng 190e.
the 17's are slowing down your car - if you can live without them, you could replace them with some lightweight 15's. pero op kors mas maganda porma ng 17's.
the next thing to look at is the condition of the engine - proper tune, new fluids, etc.
after that, standard breathing mods would help - exhaust, intake - but not much. the Benz isn't really a go-fast car, and aftermarket parts tend to be very expensive.
