Honda City rear camber...

Upon visual inspection my Honda City (current model) rear camber is a bit off.

Can this be fixed?

Why not take it to the casa?

Can't imagine how the rear camber could be off... beam axle yan, kaya naka-set na yung camber... unless it's lowered and with mags?

If it's obvious just by looking at it, then you probably have lowered it. I don't know if camber is adjustable on Honda torsion beams.

Brought it to the casa today and put it through their 4 wheel alignment equipment.

The rear right camber is outside specifications:

Minimum is -2.00 degrees.
Maximum is 0.00 degrees. A bit of negative camber is actually preferred, but not exceeding -2 degrees.

My rear right camber is -2*18', which is outside specs, and I can see this just by looking at it.

What should be done about this?

AFAIK the City's rear susp is a fixed twist beam with no camber adjustments...

This is so disappointing... my car is barely a week old...

hmmm...looking at your printout...:confused: bakit may "BEFORE" reading? How do you interpret that? Right wheel ba yan? May read out ka ng kabila or left wheel?

Tagal na ako di nag papa camber. Pero ang natatandaan ko, may initial reading tapos i-a-adjust nila yong alignment (toe-in or out), then hahabulin yong ideal specs range. Tapos final reading. Meski sa old car noon, ala turnilyong pinipihit para ma-adjust camber. Yong front dati ng old car namin, ang ginalaw yong spindle (ininit at ini-reform) para habulin yong acceptable specs. At kung bibistahin mo nga --- makikita mo yong tindig ng gulong kung neg (piki or papasok) or pos (plakda or palabas). In any case, may before and after reading din yong pagkaka-camber.

Ang point ko (and this doesn't seem to add up), bakit may before and after ang rear camber reading mo sa right ba ito kamo? May adjustment na bang nagawa? Yong bang before reading na -1.48 e acceptable sana siya within the range?

Yung top ng tire ay nakapasok. Negative camber.

Oo nga, nagtataka rin ako. Hindi nga adjustable yung rear camber kaya dapat hindi nagbago. Hindi rin nila ginalaw.

Aminado naman sila na wala sa specs. Hindi naman nila pinilit na acceptable dahil -1.48 naman sya.

Baka hindi pa naka-setup mabuti kaya maling value ang lumabas?

Will they replace the unit or the parts? Is it under warranty? Because if it isn't, then you're out of luck. The only way I know to decrease rear camber on a torsion beam car is to either raise the car or to mandrel bend the beam, and I don't know if any local shops have the proper mandrels for it.

You have to talk long and earnestly with your Honda dealer about this problem, because if your car is new, most likely it's an assembly fault at the plant. If your car is a few years old, they can always argue that it was caused by damage to the torsion beam.
