Biglang umilaw SRS indicator ng Gen1 CRV and doesn't go off when ignition switch is on. Goes off only when ignition turned off. Ano kaya problema? Checked the fuse but seems ok naman. Would the airbags misfire?

    Thanks

Just to be sure, why not remove the fuse of the airbags for now then bring it to casa for checkup... Baka pumutok pa ng wala sa oras yan.

Some cars talagang may sakit na ganyan. It could be a faulty connection. Just have the casa check. ;)

either sa wiring yan or the srs airbag mismo. kakatakot yan baka biglang magmisfire, tanggalin mo muna fuse para sure

Thanks sa mga replies. Tinaggal ko na fuse. Will bring it to the casa next week. Baguio based kase kaya the nearest Honda cars is sa Pangasinan pa.

3 yrs lang ang warranty ng crv, since gen1 pa yan, out of warranty na yan.

you won't be able to reset it with the battery. if you need to have something like that done on your crv bring it to the shop. i've reset about 4 or 5 srs lights on CRV's na

you need a diagnostic computer to reset it.

Airbag clockspring is most likely the culprit. Have it checked at the Casa just to be sure.

Help - SRS indicator doesn't go off
