help regarding this type of muffler

guys help naman kung ano tunog ng ganitong muffler. butas na kasi yung sa ride ko and binigyan ako ng dad ko ng ganito.

ayoko kasi muna ipaputol yung mga tubo bka hinde maganda tunog. mazda astina ride ko.

parang ganyan ung sa 89 corolla ko dati, kung di ako nagkakamali about 2" yung butas, di cya maingay or masakit sa ulo pagbinirit mo, kumbaga lalakas lang by my estimate 15-25% yung lakas sa stock sound at pagidle tunog swabe. kinuha ko nga yung tip nung akin bago ko nabenta

That's a jasma muffler hinde maingay ung mga ganyan specialy pag idle para ka lang nka stock muffler pag nirev mo naman deep bassy ang tunog nya!

thanks guys. yun kasi sabi ko sa dad ko. ayaw ko ng maingay...parang kasi binubuyo kang magpatakbo ng matulin pag maingay.ganoon kasi yung nakakabit sa ride ko now. pero parang nakakabingi pag long drive na. deep bass sound... okey yun. atleast may differnce sa stock na tunog.

okey ba yung ganito type ng muffler. nanakaka-apekto ba ito sa performance ng car?

fujitsubo is known to manufacture well made mufflers, most of their exhausts has good flow and has a distinctive deep throaty note. as far as performance gains, that will all depend on the proper piping size and design. too small of a pipe will be too restrictive and an over sized pipe will tend to lose back pressure. mandrel bent pipes will have better flow as opposed to crush bent counter-parts. I would recommend a 2.25" pipe for the 1.5/1.6 and 2.5 for the 1.8 (fuel injected). hth!!!
