February 21st, 2020 08:19 PM #41I'm not very familiar on mechanical repairs, but here's my humble opinion as a car owner if you will.
The car is 10 years old, and I think the components failing one after another is simply natural wear and tear. Even if you have been diligent in maintenance, the best it can do is a hedge against the natural "decay" - but eventually it (i.e. the car's overall health) will still go down south.
Natural lang talaga. Like someone already mentioned, palitan mo one component, bibigay naman yung next weakest. It might go on and on, baka eventually yung buong sasakyan bago na lahat ng parts, or "frankenstein" na.
Despite the casa being your best bet, in a matter of speaking, para talaga silang mga doctor - puwede ka nilang bigyan ng gamot, pero maaring hindi ka gumaling. It will not be possible to determine yung pinaka problem outright - gaya ng doctor, baka kailangan i-trace through a series of tests and procedures (na typically masakit sa bulsa). In the end, wala pa ring guarantee na gagaling.
Perhaps its time to let it go - bago lumaki ng grabe yung repair bills mo, sayang baka puwede na pang DP ng new car.
Peace of mind ka pa dahil bago - warranties, improved techologies, better safety features, cleaner engines and everything - unlike continuing to operate an older car na "sakitin" na, hindi mo na maasahan. Baka kung saan ka pa tumirik, put yourself and your loved ones at risk, tapos makakaabala ka ng other motorists dahil nakaka traffic jam ka. God-forbid, baka maka-aksidente ka pa ng ibang tao dahil may bumigay at the worst possible moment.
Sorry, long post. Might offend a few people ("help on repair" thread ito after all) but in the end, gamit lang ang car. Timbangin mo yung hassle at gastos ng upkeep vs. yung purpose kung bakit ka nag car in the first place. Be sensitive kung medyo sakit na siya ng ulo.

i've been through the same process with the same model and car make using a combination of casa and suking talyer for service.
- PS pump seal change out lang yung sa akin kasi nauubos ang PSF nya (service casa), pump seal (outside casa) PSF (from casa).
- Wheel bearing hub (front/rear) outside casa parts and service
- engine mount (outside casa for parts and service)

You're not alone with that experience, bro.
For owners of old vehicles like me, that's the norm.
You have the trouble fixed, you expect another one manifest right after...
So people with moolah normally dispose off their rides between 3 to 5 years before the wear and tear troubles set in, and we gleefully catch them....
