if you have the 2nd gen CRV, you can buy japanese springs set from Honda casa for P8K. The ride dramatically improves. My bro's 2nd gen CRV had its springs swapped and it rides like the 1st gen CRV.

    27th_Faktory,
yep change the springs. yung sayo kase nung 8seater pa mas stiffer yung spring rates to accomodate the heavier load. naka 17" wheels ka diba? probably kahit magpalit ka shocks medyo matagtag pa rin yun pero at least there will be some improvement.

Ang papalitan lang dun rear springs. Front springs of the former 4x2 is the same as the current AWD CRV.

I test drove the Gen2 CRV at the fort before ..yep the AWD Gen2 now rides like the Gen1.

    dieselNUBI,
change the shocks. Sa akin ganyan medyo luma na shocks I plan to change them too. If you want the same ride feel get the oem shocks from the casa. Pero for me I'd rather get Bilstein shocks for almost the same price (mas mura pa yata Bilstein compared to the oem shocks bought from the casa.

    27th,

pag nakalabas yung tires palaging madudumihan yung sides ng CRV mo eventually lalabo paint nun. better get wheels and tires with the proper offset or install aftermarket flares.

for further info check out this thread and read the post by Mikkomiks:

    27th,

yep ubusin mo muna yang bridgstone duelers hehe.

    DieselNubi,

But if you compare it to OEM shocks bought at the casa for 7,500 a piece (which makes that 30k for everthing!) dun na lang ako sa Bilstein... mas mura na performance shocks pa.

price of bilstein depends on the application. somtimes an application like the patrol can have cheaper parts since iba din yung design ng shocks.

you could also check out rancho and old man emu shocks. good reviews din on these pieces eh!
