Where can I get good aftermarket headers?

What is the usual type you guys upgrade to?
    1. Stainless steel?
    2. 4-2-1, 4-1-1 or 4-1? What are the differences?

How much should I be spending for these? What else do I need to know?

Heard from Fremuff thier headers are not mandrell bent for the mean time because thier equipment is busted.

My other choice is nodalo's but just not quite sure if they're OK.

If you really want power gains for your car kaya ka nagpapaheaders, I'd suggest getting a "branded" headers for your ride.

    Complete with test results pa...

Kung ricey headers effect lang naman ang plan mo, I'd suggest stainless, madrel bent pipes na 4-2-1.

I heard Mufflerland have mandrel benders (but I haven't tried their product and I don't know where it is exactly located - marami raw branch ito, like tomas morato).

low end means sa lower rpm band... more for acceleration. high-end sa higher rpm range for peak hp.

intro price bigay sakin... 3.5k kasi sa transport ko kinuha. pero ang actual price na is around 5.5 to 6k para sa headers. to follow na yung straight pipes ko :D feeling ko aluminum coated lang ang mga pipes na to. will post updates after the installation in terms of performance and exhaust noise. naka JASMA spec muffler na rin kasi ako so i'm expecting na bubuo din yung tunog (magiging more bassy)

Sana hindi masyadong off topic pero do you guys measure success through dyno runs? or butt dyno lang?

In my case hinda ko na kailangang mag pa dyno-test pa hindi ko naman ipangkakarera yung oto ko e kaya't di ko na kailangan pa yung exact figures kung nag-gain ba torque or HP nung oto. I'll measure it na lang kung nag-improve ba performance nung oto sa acceleration at engine response sa iba't ibang rpm

pang city driving recommended talaga ang 4-2-1 header dahil mas madalas siempre sa low rpm to mid rpm ang gamit mo dahil na rin sa stop ang go traffic sa metro

Di ba ang OE headers 4-2-1 naman right out of the factory? Unless you'd want a bigger bore.

get larger diameter headers (around 1.75" - 2") para mas mabilis lumabas yung exhaust para gumanda din ang performance. i think stock is 1.5"?

please take note that the prices sup mentioned were only available at the transhow. nag-increase na sila. bigay sakin na quote were the following:

    4-2-1 mandrel bent headers - 3.5k (al), 2.5k (bi)
4ft mandrel bent straight pipe - 2.1k (al), 1.4k (bi)
free flow resonator - 1.2k less 20% pa

prices have since increased as per their advise.

branches nila are sa t. morato (9260132), kamias (4342451), fairview (4313880), valenzuela (2773661) and novaliches (no contact number sa calling card eh)

    Hello fellow Mazda owner...

There is an aftermarket mandrel bent, stainless steel header available for our cars. It is manufactured by Hotbits Australia and is being distributed here by Speedmode.

The ProtegeTech entry in the recently concluded Transport Show is sporting that headers. It costs around 9K.

Thanks! I didn't notice that "ohmme" was sporting aftermarket headers.

The trick with the valve cover was sweet though.
