follow the recommended oil change interval of your car manufacturer. it should be written in your car manual.

fake havoline energy? havent heard of that yet.

"wala pang 3 months maitim na lub oil ko" - it means that the oil is cleaning your engine. your 3 months, how far have you ran?

For your info, the black container with "made in Europe" tag is the original package of Havoline Energy when it first debut in the market. The bluish-gray container is the repackaged Energy which is made in Singapore (which explains the higher cost compared with the European made Energy). This I know, coz' I'm one of the Havoline Energy user who attested the benefits derived using Energy (sa other board pa when they are still carrying/advertising the Mobil1 0W40 tri-synthetic). :D

And regarding sa mabilis umitim yung langis - it is a good sign that the motor oil is doing its job of cleaning the engine internals (dirt/combustion acids suspended in the oil) and is only normal especially if your car is ran under severe driving conditions (stop and go, long idling, dust/pollution, heavy traffic, short trips, etc.). The oil darkening serves as an indicator to change the oil. 8)

Friends, when buying Caltex Lubricants and other products, always check the foil seal. It should have the word "CALTEX" embossed or printed on it. In the case of Havoline Energy (black container-Europe; blue container-repacked-Singapore) it's seal should have an embossed "CALTEX" word on it. HTH ;)

Havoline Energy is a Group 3 oils unlike Mobil 1 supersynthetic oil na Group 4 oils.. that means it performs like fully synthetic but mineral oil pa rin siya.

I do 5k change oil pa rin for Havoline Energy.
