Ano ano ba ang mga dapat gawin? Can you list it down here for us? Baka naman kaya na ng Caltex ni Chieffy ang mga services na iyan (for way less than Php 11k).
Other reputable mechanics:
*Sir ferdie in Obrero
*GlennSter's shop in Kamias

ang mga trabaho daw ay ito:
replace timing belt
perform tune up
replace front brake pads
inspect suspension
inspect door hinges
inspect / tighten suspension
drain and change oil fluids? ano kaya mga fluids na 'to?
all i remember ang quote sa parts ay 8000++
quote sa labor 2000++
original suzuki parts daw
Si wiretap_md dun nagpapagawa most of the time but he gets the parts from Olympia.
another of case of would be-Casa Robbery
Check muna dapat before replace
drain and change oil fluids? ano kaya mga fluids na 'to? ---> malamang engine oil (and filter) saka yung fluid para sa differentials (front and rear), transmission, at transfer case.

I literally changed my whole front suspension just this month c/o Chieffy's. Palit balljoint, tierod, rack-end, idler arm bushing, centerlink. Original 555 replacement parts ang ginamit ko for all the components except the centerlink where I had to get OEM Suzuki. P11k is too much.
thanks for the tips peeps
chieffy's name always appears maybe i'll visit him sometime this week. paco caltex db. cge cge
tnx!!!
Yup, madali lang. I get all my parts from Olympia Auto Supply along Araneta Ave. right after SOGO
Hindi Sogo hotel iyan ha. Yung Sogo garments factory. hehehehehe. Malapit sa Big Bert's Auto Detailing.

depensib!... hehehe... yan din nga sana itatanong ko e... sabi kze nila mahirap daw maghanap ng parts ng vitara.... ill take doc wiretap's word for it... :D
your neighborhood talyer should have parts (or at least have a source for parts) for this car. ask them nalang![]()
actually its not yet my car. i am asking kasi thinking of getting a vitara. are there any shops for parts banda south? how about pasay area?
i have a feroza, as you all know mahirap ang parts. its nice, reliable, tough. pero after 12 years. medyo mahirap na. if ang situation ng vitara regarding parts is just a small improvement. baka will look for a terrano instead.
yung CASA ng suzuki sa las pinas
it is run by pilhino or PTII ba or sumthing like that
jkyamog: Parts availability isn't a problem. The CASA has it all. The only problem would be the skyrocket price if you get it from the casa. Thats why I get it from Olympia because their prices are definitely cheaper since they source it directly from the factory. I have the parts manual so its easy to order almost anything...from a body panel down to the smallest screw.

thanks wiretap for the good info. me and my wife looked at a vitara today. she doesn't like it since its a bit small. we need a bigger one. oh well... i guess i will look for a terrano.
