irritating sound!

this past few days napansin ko sa family car namin. may maingay na sound that comes from the engine..talaga very irritating..dati naman wala..lalo na pag galing sa mga long driving..bigla na lng lumalabas yung ingay na yun..alam nyo tunog na..parang my umikot na roleta sa loob?..dati pina check ko ang ginawa nung mekaniko hinigptan lng yun mag spark plugs then after ayun nawala yung sound na yun..pero ngayun bumalik na naman. ano kaya problema? thanks in advance!

hmmm. baka nga may roleta sa loob.

the only thing i could think of is engine knock. have you tried using a higher octane fuel? (e.g. blaze, velocity, etc.)

baka naman wala rin sa timing...

dami reasons eh. pwedeng di rin naman sa engine yan? pwedeng nasa aircon compressor, aux fans o sa alternator...

sir iba yung tunog ng engine knock eh..cgurado ako hindi engine knock toh..pero ang sa akin kc pasumpong sumpong....minsan wala minsan meron..

sir ungas, ano dapat gawin may kelangan ba ayusin or palitan? di ko pa kc maharap ngayun yung sasakayan..masayadong busy sa work kaya d2 muna ako nag tatanong. hehehe. tnks.

Adjusting the tuppets is the easier part, dapat alamin mo muna kung ilan ang gap clearance para sa engine mo. Some have 0.14mm while others have 0.28mm Di pare-pareho ang gaps. Take note that some engines intake gap and exhaust are also different.

Kung sa valve seats ang problem, kailangan baklasin ang cylinder head.

bring it to a mechanic that's near you and have it looked at. try not to ignore the problem also because this could lead to more problems in the future.
