July 4th, 2006 02:33 PM #1Anong magandang brand ng ATF? Malaki ba ang pinagkaiba ng performance ng mineral at synthetic? Mga magkano ang presyo per liter, mineral and synthetic? Thank you.

but remember, brand comes second next kung mineral/semi-/fully synth..
what is important is the type of atf indicated sa dipstic/ sa stickers sa car/ sa owner's manual...types, i mean kung dexron1/2/3, type a, etc.....
eto ang di alam ng karamihan, at nineneglect kasi akala natin pare-pareho lang atf just like engine oil....pero a/ts are sensitive to fluid type than the engine or power steering.
i know, dito nasira matic ng delica ko noon...

July 5th, 2006 04:09 PM #4Got it, best to stick to manufacturer recommended fluid.

yes...synth is manmade, refined to perfection, cost 5-600/liter, mineral made by nature, refined 80-300/liter...average a/t has 6-8 liters of atf(TC, inside and filter and pan)
nasasayo yan, pero kung gagamit ka ng synth, flush mo muna using the cheapest correct type of atf, before putting in the syth..para di sayang..

I just changed my ATF (flush and refill) last Jan using Caltex ATF, driving characteristic changed quite a bit, mas swabe... But then..
I had my car's water jacket fixed last week and the stupid SR20DE has a water jacket behind the flywheel necessitating the removal of the tranny to access a stupid 1" jacket...
So I had almost all my ATF flushed last week habang may ginagawang iba sa oto, flushed out the ATF sa torque converter and the lines, lahat halos... Mga 95% fluid bago... Used Top1 DexronIII ATF (correct spec sa manual, not like the Caltex before).
Grabe layo sobra ng takbo ngayon, barely need to step of the accelerator to make it run uphill, almost non-existent shift-nudge from N to D, and noticeable reduction of torque/power loss during acceleration.
Had it done sa Stage1 Motorworks btw.
Panasonic Lead Acid is now under GS Yuasa. Sent from my SM-S901E using Tsikot Forums mobile app
Which is better? Amaron or Panasonic Battery?
