Normal ba to?
Paano ba dinadiagnose to? Any recommended shops?

July 22nd, 2005 10:08 AM #3if when you open the oil cap and there is white smoke instead of just air comming out this is a pretty sure sign na busted na piston rings mo.
kung nagiiba yung color ng oil mo that mean may kahalo sya tubig...
pass by the shop if you wanna have it checked

It's natural for oil to be splashing out of the filler neck because the engine has overhead cams, and overhead cams have gears up in the cylinder head, and spinning gears tend to "throw off" a lot of oil.
The reason why you noticed the "oil throw off" increase the longer you made your observation is because the bulk of the oil flow has not yet reached the head! (I've timed my engine's oil system to deliver full flow to the camshafts at a consistent 8 secs everytime I start it cold.)
Now that's some interesting information right here on....TSIKOT.com
