October 11th, 2010 04:46 PM #1just had my more than 3-year-old civic diagnosed in honda and they said the sound coming from engine bay at cold starting is caused by the engine side mounting already touching the frame. it will cost 9,500.00 to have it done in casa. do i have other options? thanks for your helpful replies.

Its common among FD owners and is considered one of the major flaws of the car. There are replacement parts being sold in Banawe if you want a cheaper alternative but if youre vehicle is still under warranty, best to just claim it of course.
I'm still waiting for teamfd and tsikot member Emong to gain some mileage on his replacement support. If it gets at least 15tkms on it, I'd say its worth it since even the OEM parts casa used to repair the problem is not that sturdy.
