June 21st, 2004 08:06 PM #1Need Help... what would be causing my Rpm to drop to zero when in stop and nanginginig yung engine? ang sometimes the engine just died, i have to step on the accelerator para umangat ulit sia? it already happened to me twice...

Try mo www.protegetech.org. It is the website for Mazda and Lynx owners. Maybe they have discussions on your RPM problems. Mazda cars are known for these vibrating and dropping rpm problems and chances are they have threads on this.

check the ignition. could be something loose inside the ignition coil/distributor system. clogged fuel line/filter. loose battery terminals.

medyo madalas mangyari ngayon niyan sa mazda...
minsan kahit umaandar... biglang mag drop na lang ang rpm to zero... pero kung nakatapak ka sa gas, mababawi naman niya at tutuloy ang andar...
paano malaman kung clogged ang fuel lines?
