ATF for mitsubishi

Hi guys!


tanong ko lang po mga sirs kung ano bang atf compatible sa diamond brand na nirerecomend ng mitsubishi?Puede ba shell atf ang gamitin?

pasencya na la me alam sa automatic transmission

by the way my ride is 10 year old mitsubishi rvr japan converted.

un ang pangit sa mits, di indicated kung anung type....anywayz, kakagaling ko lang sa delica, now my ride is a liteace..(masmadali maintenance kasi..except for the 2c-t computer box, TEMS and wheel parts(4wd kasi ang akin))

anywayz, use only DEXRON or DEXRON II type ATF.

sa shell, DEXTRON III is only available, at 220 per liter! so i advice, kung limited lang pera mo forget it...and dont use the ATF with the DONAX specs(cost roughly 100 on shell) because masmalapot un at sinira nun tranny ko...

sa friendly auto supply mo makakabili ka ng DEXRON/DEXRON II/DEXRON III for only 80-150 pesos.

mostly 3 liters ang maddrain mo sa oil pan, 2-2.5 lites ang nakastock sa torque converter..just to be safe, prepare 5 liters...and dont forget to replace the oil filter found inside when you remove the oilpan...

4d68 TDIC -Fuel cons aprox. 9-10 km/liter sa highway pero sa city driving di ko pa na try.
ok lang po ba un fuel cons nito?
anyway papalitan ko narin sabay ang atf filter.

two months palang sakin ang rvr pero ok naman ang performance kahit dielsel.Problema lang ung right side mirror di tama ang angle.

gusto ko sana din rvr/chariot ipalit sa delica ko, but...di kaya ang add'l,e...i think ok n yan...baka lumaki pa yang figures na yang pag nalinis mo na ng tuluyang ride mo...

about sa rt side mirror, you can just make tulak, or just repalce it with local spacewagon parts,ok...

sa banawe, meron dun... MOTORICH ang name ng store, may shop din sila sa may likod...dun mo dalhin kung ayaw mo masyadong abala sa paghanap ng parts,ok...

Ok,narinig ko narin yung motorix sa banawe.pa estimate ko muna kung magkano aabutin...hehehe- medyo limitado pa ngaun ang budget ko sa maintenance.

ano ang engine displacement ng liteace mo? 2.0L din ba yan? what's your fuel cons? alam ko turbo din ang mga 4x4 diba?

yes..it is a 2.0 2c-t..and surprisingly its electronically controlled!(even a diagnostics port)

i chose this kasi naisip ko din baka magka-prob ako sa 4d68 ng parts, particularly sa internals...dont mean to discourage you,h? since madami-dami na ding rvr/chariot na dumating, obviously, may spares na for it...pero un nga, you'll have to look for it..

ang magiging prob ko lang naman sa liteace ko ay ung computerbox,4wd mechanism and auto tranny, especially TEMS(toyota electronic modulated suspension) nito!

as far consumption, so far, my 1st computation yield me only 4 km/L! and a total of 2.5-3 hours of idling w/ full aircon(tambayan ko ito, pag namamalengke, antay si mommy,etc..)my 1st fulltank(45 liters) last almost 3 weeks..im targeting na 4weeks mag-last ung fulltank ko...alam ko 55liters ang tank nito...

i'm looking forward when i finish cleaning this up..then i'll have a definite km/L figure.

When in doubt, use the OEM ATF. Meron din sa El Dorado baka maka-discount ka.

Hindi pa kasi kami nagpapalit ng ATF sa Montero ('97) kaya hindi ako sure kung ano ang effect ng non-OEM ATF.

sir otep, ano ba ibig sabihin ng oem atf? advice nyo po kung ilang Km ang pag palit ng atf and filter?

Nabasa ko kasi sa isang post d2(rvr din) na nasunog ung auto tranny nila pag akyat ng bagiuo.Nakaka pobia naman and pag overhaul ng auto tranny...20k! wow! mabigatzzz sa bulsa

Kaya kelangan ko ng advice nyo kung how often me magpalit ng filter and fluid.

madami-dami na din kayung owners ng rvr...its a great personal/family car...diesels are effiecients nga and the 2.0 4g63s(especially the turbo ones) are sleepers.

im still hoping that i could be a rvr owner too...see my sig and avatar..

nga pala, pag-sinabing oem atf, means ung atf na binili mo directly sa autorized dealers or casa na nakalagay sa bote na may label ng car manufacture..in ur case:mitsubishi...

the real truth i sold my delica is because it has a slight tranny problem that requires it to be overhauled:the clutches on its 1,2 gears are quite burnt out....and this will cost me almost 40,000 all-in-all.

laging nakailaw na ung "at temp" ko and i can smell the burnt sensation of ATF when i remove the dipstick...kaya ako aadvice na to guyz like you para di din kayu masiraan ng a/t tranny due to fluid negligence..

dapat talagang alagaan ciguro ang atf and filter.every 8 month nalang me palit para iwas problema kahit meadyo maykamahalan.puede daw ang filter ng mga auto galants sa rvr kaya nga lang daw low capacity kasi maliit pang 4x2 lang.sabi ng pinsan ko tamang tama daw ang mountings pati ung port.1.1K peso ang isa with 2 pcs pan gaskets.Ung 4x4(orig) pareho lang din kaya lang malaki ang size pang rvr talaga 1.5k peso sa el dorado cya nag canvas.Marami daw rvr parts sa el dorado.kaya lang may kamahalan. ung timing belt ng diesel rvr is 7k.
