ayon sa post mo- j.atutubo pala may gawa nun.. hehehe..

baka nga remove ko nalang yung EGR--papafabricate ako ng cover sa suki kong machine shop just as he did... para pwede ko i-balik ang EGR if an imbalance arises

sa DIY catch can, pwede ko pala gamiting yung used(pinalitan) na fuel filter ko--including yung manual pump--(kaya ko binaklas/pinalitan kasi sira na yung manual pump!)

post ko pics hanap lang ko ng kung anung oil-filter ang pwede kong ipasok sa manual pump an yun..kung wala, hanap ko ng float-sensor na kinakabit sa ilalin ng fuel filter to plug it...now where to place.. hmmm....

thanx binigyan nyo ako ng magandang ideas...kahit medyo magastos..

for the cover plate, steel scissor and steel plate lang po gamit namin. tapos drill holes sa gilid, for the bolts to pass through. to make it look like a closed gasket. lagay namin sa Top left in the pic I posted. took us no more than 20 mins to make and attach.

anu kaya before and after ng emission test nya? just a thought...

I wasn't able to compare the emmision test result. once a year lang kasi kaya nakakalimutan ko na.

and I didn't notice 'noticable changes' with the 2ct and 3ct. sa Pajero lang...
Probably less visible smoke but more Nox?

next year siguro, papaemission test ulit ko w/ that egr(sabay sa rehistro: april 2008), i'll remove the EGR then after a year later, (april 2009) emission test without that EGR(xerox ko ang test results)--1 year outcome para mas ok...(mahal kasi kung monthly ko papa-emission,e...)

so far, pag di nagamit for 1 day(coding day) dun lang siya bumubuga ng black smoke ng umaga when i hit 2500 rpms... pero kanina dis 3000-4000rpm accelerations wala masyado usok....(kita naman sa rear mirron kung may bugang usok,e...)

AY: Good idea yung emission test before and after to see kung talagang nabawasan or nadagdagan yung usok. Make sure controls are consistent. Same time of day, same condition of engine (warmed up, cold, etc), same fuel, etc.

1 gas station nalang pinagkakargahan ko--the cheapest in my area: jetti in mindanao ave...(now 34.7/L)
