    Hi guys,

Would anyone be able to tell me if my car's problem is a dirty air filter, or a sliding clutch... or both?

Here's what I've observed on my car...

When I drive it coming from being parked overnight, and the temperature is not yet at the average, it moves smoothly, but once it reaches the average temperature, I usually experience something like a rapid succession of pressing and releasing of the brakes. Parang may jolting motion yung kotse. Parang hirap din siya humatak.

I also sometimes find it hard to switch back to 1st gear. Di agad pumapasok.

Pasensya na, at wala akong masyadong alam sa kotse.

    TIA.

Yes, pag nakahinto. Mahirap ipasok sa 1st gear after a full stop, sir, pero di naman palagi. Pasumpong-sumpong. Maraming salamat!

I hope others could also give their inputs.

    TIA.

check the the master cylinder and slave clutch kung may leak, if one of these ay mamasa masa may pressure leak na and need to replace the whole assembly (if needed) or repair kit lang.

re sa something wrong sa engine kapag nareach na ang normal temp i suggest - tune up, change fuel filter or baka due na ang car mo for pm

Maraming salamat sa mga input. It turned out na ok pa ang clutch ko. One of the guys at the shop did the handbreak, 3rd gear, rev engine, release clutch test... namatayan naman ako ng engine.

He had the servo checked, then had it cleaned and adjusted. I just wanted to share that in case somebody else encounters the same problem and thinks that it's their air filter or clutch that has a prob.

Yung shifting down to the 1st gear na problem ko, di pa umulit during the test drive, and on my way home. I don't know much about cars, pero parang di naman siguro na-fix yun dahil sa paglinis at adjust lang nung servo.

    Thanks again for the input!
