Replacement boot is Php130/ea. Packing grease is around Php75/ea. (medyo mahal na ito). At most you will need 4 boots and 4 packs of grease. Pwede din ata bilhin yung grease sa malaking lalagyan.

I forgot the labor. Lumalabas mga Php300/side or less yata. May sinabay din kasi akong oil change and other stuff (pakyaw).

tapos try to find the most convenient shop in your area..

have the bearings checked before replacing it. kung sira na sila kahit anong repack mo maingay parin yan.

    1) Yung tunog ba ng sirang CV joint bearing, parehas ng tunog ng sirang wheel bearing?
    2) Posible bang masira yung CV joint bearing kahit na buo pa yung drive shaft boot?

    Speedyfix is right.

Yes the cv joint races and balls due to dirt wear and lack of lubrication have slack and under acceleration around curves they pop pop pop. Or click that means there is no boot that is going to fix that slack. There are rebuilt half-shafts available but you must make sure you know if your car has Viscus differential with limited slip. The inner CV joint splines are different. Transmission number plate or door jamb sticker RE4F04A is open differential and RE4FO4V is limited slip viscus differential it has different axles so be careful. I would replace the entire half-shaft (s) or rebuit it and torque the axle nut to 172 to 240 foot pounds torque depending on the model of your car. Axle nut is either 2 1/4 inch or 36 mm. I am sorry I assumed your car has a four speed automatic transmission since you never mention anything about the vehicle but broken halfshalf boot.
