Carb Problem?

guys,

Problem ng oto is that di cya maka-sustain pag idle. i mean namamatay yung engine after 10-15 secs on idle.

I have initially observed the carb and here's what i found out:

- carb has 2 parts (left and right)
- left side part contains a tube that drips gas
- right side contains a tube that sprays gas when u rev

when the idle is stable there was no visible gas going to the engine either from the left or right part. After 10-15 sec, the left side part of the carb starts to drip gas and this is the time the engine dies - unless u step on the accelerator.

Could this be a carb problem?

get a repair kit for the carb. check mo rin fuel lines mo saka fuel filter, baka barado kaya walang umaakyat na fuel masyado sa carb

hindi sa walang umaakyat na gas sa carb kundi dahil nagdi-drip yung gas sa carb kaya namamatay yung engine.

Pansin ko kasi pag stable yung idle walang gas na nagdi-drip sa carb.

try mo muna magspray ng carb cleaner baka me dumi lang somewhere. wd40 spray naman sa lahat ng mechanical linkages.

NEVER open the carb unless you know what you're doing. Even the repair kit replacement is the last resort. Carbs are meant to last a lifetime without any major repair as long as it is maintained properly (lubrication and cleaning).
