I lifted this from the Corolla manual (1998).

    HTH

Syempre dito sa Pilipinas clean air filter, change oil and oil filter every 5K.

    R = Replace
I = Inspect, and replace if necessary.

here's some of the most common check-up routine for Altis

    every 5K kms
    engine oil change
    inspect brake pads
    inspect belts (A/C, alternator, Powersteering)

    every 10K kms
inspect fuilds - radiator coolant, A/T gear oil, power steering fluid

    every 20K kms
replace spark plugs (with Cat Converter)

    every 40K kms
    replace brake fuild
    replace radiator coolant

    Hope this helps

. . . BTW, VVTi has no timing belt so no need for replacement at 100K

    how's this for a car maintenance checklist/schedule?

    http://www.philstar.com/philstar/show_content.asp?article=295148

    1. Give your car a birthday or an anniversary date.
    2. Change the oil every year. You read right — every year.
    3. Change the spark plugs every year.
    4. Rotate the tires every year to equalize wear and extend their life.
    5. Change the air and fuel filters every two years or 20,000 kilometers.
    6. Change the radiator coolant with a 50:50 mix of water and coolant every two years.
    7. Change the timing belt every four years or 60,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
    8. Change the drive belts for the fan, water pump, power steering pump and aircon compressor every four years or 60,000 kms.
    9. Change the radiator cap and hoses every four years or 60,000 kms.
    10. Change the gear oil for manual transmissions and automatic transmission fluid (ATF) for, what else, automatic transmissions every four years.

out of warranty naman na kotse ko so baka ayos na ito... ibalik ko nalang sa casa for the major maintenance schedules (every 40,000)
