AFAIK, you can camber the rear. And oh, you'll need to stiffen your shocks too.

that press thing sounds scary. do they heat the suspension parts here?

anyway, im suddenly wondering why Honda would produce a great looking car like the Civic EK, but design it in a way that it would not allow it to be (front) cambered normally.

the camber is a function of the type of suspension. honda designs the car with the proper suspension/camber for a stock car but does not take into account people lowering or modifying the car.

you can easily buy a camber plate for the front and rear which will allow you to correct for negative camber due to a ride height that is too low.

    sir speedyfix,

so does that mean that if i don't lower my EK, then the camber should be ok for the lifespan of the car? or will it eventually need cambering using the kits? just curious po.

Well, even if the springs are stock, the Civic's camber is still fixed to negative in the front. Ever since, the inner parts of the front tires wear more easily despite having correct toe alignment.

morrissey_05, yup it should be ok barring and major suspension damage which bends and arm, etc.

squala, true... it's set up negatively but i doubt you'll find a car with 0 camber. a little bit of camber helps handling, turn-in and grip. i'd rather have a little bit of inner tire wear than weird handling or a car that can't handle a corner

    speedyfix,

ahhh ok...thanks very much. just what i wanted to hear hahaha

i would think that it would be hard to find the "perfect" 0 camber. its a lil good pala if you have a lil negative there.

the camber setting will vary per vehicle model. though it is slighty leaning to negative.

the inner tires will slighty wear out faster, but you can counter this by flipping over your tires (so that the inner tires will be the outer tires) and switching them to the other side.

sa servitek autocamp / meralco ok gumawa ng alignment / camber adjustment.
