Brake Problem

Mga Sir,

Pa help nman po, kxe me maingay pag ng pepreno ako sa LXI ko Matic, anu kaya nag problem dun ei bagong rafce nnaman cia at palit ng pads sabe ng tag RAPIDEmawawala daw ei hinde nman...

mga manloloko lng gusto lng nila mabili ung parts nila at labor.

typical mistake: after machining brake drums and rotors, it has to be washed in warm soapy water, rinsed and dried. it was not a big concern back then when friction materials were made of asbestos. but with today's semi metallic, metallic and ceramic friction materials, they are more sensitive to cross glazing as the rotors/drums themselves. the cast iron dust not removed transfers to the brake linings and lo and behold, you have cast iron glazed brake lining against cast iron drum/rotor.

anung brake pad ang ginamit mo sir?

where did you have your rotor refaced?

the rotor needs to be refaced properly, any error in leveling or flatness will incur noises

yun problem ko is pag nag bbrake may *chug.chug.chug* sound.. parang kumakas kas.. kakapalit ko lang ng rotor 4 months ago. sayang naman ang palit ko. hindi din naayos yun problem ko. ano ba mas ok, bumili ng new rotor or mag pa resurface? sinuggest kasi sakin bumili na lang ng brandnew dati kaya yun yun nagawa ko..pero ganun parin.

there might be damage to the hub or foreign object between the hub and the brake disc is preventing it to seat properly. if the wheel had always been installed with an impact wrench or the lug nuts were overtorqued, the hub can warp and so is the new rotor
