    My Avanza's manual says 48 months or 80,000 kms whichever comes 1st. It uses Dexron III.

    My Chevy Venture's manual says 83,000 kms. Just to be safe I replaced at 70,000 kms, around 54 months. It was still ok no burnt smell and shifting normally.
