i'm pretty darn sure a crankshaft sensor, cam sensor, or similar wouldn't have an effect on the tranny shifting. things like the throttle angle and cam sensors would affect idle and high-rpm operation. the air control thingie would affect the idle.

all those codes seem unrelated to the tranny (although they could affect the VTEC like the OP reports).

*galactus, why not go to the casa and have them diagnose it? wala naman sigurong bayad kung di mo ipapagawa sa kanila. definitely whether OBD-I or OBD-II or even non-OBD yan, the casa will have the tool to read it. or baka pwedeng i-DIY (speedyfix prolly knows how to do it.. or pwedeng i-google).

or maybe Zee can have a look at it.

ang alam ko sa US libre magpa-scan ng ECU. ang pinoy nga naman..

I know that.I'm just saying what's on the book.Scanning is not free in the US but if you're handyman you can go to Autzone and loan a scanner.

My 100% guess is TCM, The resistors goes south just like their ECU.

    *ronald_m,
i meant free scanning sa autozone. or rather you can borrow their scanner for free.

ang alam ko the banawe boys repair ECU's and TCM's. but they have no skills, they just blindly replace parts. :P

although one can buy a surplus ECU or TCM for relatively cheap in banawe. the place is awash with ex-Japan ECU's and TCM's for auto trannies. an ECU for an automatic midsize car is like 2000 petot = $40. but for a manual tranny.. 5X that. i think 90% of ex-Japan salvage are automatics.

Does it make sense kung dalhin sa gumagawa ng tv,dvd appliances? They do have experience with boards, rather than bringing it to banawe bosy.

both good and bad ang sensors.

it forces people to keep on their toes and forces old school mechanics out if they cannot adopt to the changes sa mga auto.

Over the weekend, I observed the car, hindi na nga sya nagsi-shift pag nasa D3 or D4. So, after starting or from a full stop, I shift to 2 para lang maganda arangkada. But most importantly, hindi na nga nag-eengage ang VTEC. (pero hindi naman umiilaw CEL ko)

Galing me sa Banawe kahapon, hoping for a cheap and quick fix for my AT problem. Scanned the surplus shops, pero bad trip, di nila alam kung ano TCM. I had to explain what it means, but all they knew was the ECU or computer box (but even this I had to explain to them).

Pero meron amuyong dun na ni-refer ako sa isang AT mechanic, so sinamahan nya ako sa Kabignayan St. Yung mekaniko dun, after looking under the hood, disconnected this cable (shift cable ba ito?? malapit sa throttle body, opposite the accelerator cable). Tapos sabi nya sa akin, test drive mo muna, tapos balik ka dito.

(paki-magnify/ enlarge na lang yung pix,its the black cable upper middle left side)

Aba, pagka-start ko, hindi na nagbi-blink yung D4 indicator, and nag-automatic ang shifting kahit D4! Maganda yung arangkada. Sadly, it lasted for only 10 seconds, nagblink ulit, then ayaw na naman auto-shift. Sabi nya rin, wala daw TCM ang Accord, ECU lang, so most probably electrical/ electronics ang problema (solenoid, etc.). But he said na hindi nga siguro transmission kasi ok pa yung gears.

Baka may expert dito on AT who can help me?

Another AT problem
