Usually, 2 ang remote ng alarms. OE alarms or aftermarket brands. Nakakabili sa Banawe ng extra remote kung common brand at maraming extra yung store. Madali lang reprogram yung frequency at dapat dala rin yung extra remote para kasabay na reprogram din.

ang alam ko din impossible daw kopyahin ang frequency ng viper compared to ordinary alarm remotes. and if ever pano nila kokopyahin yung frequency? before kasi nagpa duplicate ako ng remote. what the shop owner did was copy the frequency from my remote using some gadget, then tuned the new remote to the same frequency and voila! ok na. i wonder lang if carnappers get a hold of this gadget, then useless na gumamit ng alarm.

RF frequency counter lang katapat niyan. Then tuned by tuning the RF screws sa remote. It would be difficult if your remote has a freq hopping feature.

madali lang magreprogram ng remote ng viper. It's in the manual. You have to do a series of steps like turn the ignition on off... press a couple of combinations tapos press the button of the remote until the system recognizes it. Basta nasa manual lahat yun.

My Viper with the new purple remotes kaya ireprogram yung old remotes para marecognize nung sa akin. You can even reprogram 1 remote for two cars. nagaw ko dati yun dun sa Rav4 and sa CR-V ko hehe.. both with Viper alarms na ibang model :D

Yung code hopping feature para anti theft lang yun against code grabbers. code hopping is not in use when you are reprogramming a remote
