the intercooler basically makes your turbo more effective and lets you use more boost. but turbo engines with *no* intercooler are almost nonexistent, and it makes no sense (well very little sense..) to put an intercooler on a non-turbo engine (mag cold air intake ka nalang in that case...)

Actually, hindi pa confirmed if 2.5 or 3.0 yung ilalagay sa 4x2 diesel. I'm just planning ahead, just in case 2.5 yung ilagay.

... for example u add a big front mount intercooler to ah... let's say a 200SX, may gains ba? stock turbo pa rin pero pinatapang mo lang itsura with a front mount intercooler.

July 29th, 2005 10:38 AM #15there are gains but typically this is needed if you up the boost. you will actually have a pressure drop with a bigger intercooler leading to increased lag and maybe slightly less boost.

planning to keep it for 15yrs just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/...
