Mga kapatid, post ko na din dito... Need your advise.

This is my first time to replace my ride's timing belt. I'm just not sure what are the parts to be replaced, aside from the timing belt itself. Should you know the price range of the parts, please include.
Below are some parts mentioned, which I'm not really sure if needs to be replaced/repaired and/or present in my current ride:

    Timing belt - A & B daw?
    Tensioner - A & B ?
    cam shaft
    crank shaft
    oil pump
    oil seal
    balancer oil seal

    Did i miss anything?
    Appreciate your feedback.

ride is a 97 galant SS

    Thanks in advance!

AFAIK isa lang ang timing belt nyan since Super Saloon yan, SOHC lang yan.

Yung Timing Belt A&B na sinabi sayo para yan sa Galant VR V6, AFAIK.

What you will need are the ff:

    Timing Belt.
    Tensioner Bearing

    Optional but recommended:

    Cam Shaft Oil Seal
    Crank Shaft Oil Seal
    Water Pump.

    Paki korek na lang po

7G = 7th generation of Galant, yung Galant mo is a 7th generation.

the Galant GTI belongs to the 6th generation hence 6g.

yung pinaka latest (well at least locally) is the 8th generation Galant

    Someone korek me please.

    boss art,

i've read in another forum na you only replace the water pump kung may tulo or madalas ka magbawas ng tubig sa radiator. any advise.

    thanks!

since timing blet ang topic, san ba mura magpagawa, kasi nung nasira water pumo ko due to overheating(kasi pinagbilang bumigay ang fan ko) sbrang mahal ng labor.. laging 1.5-2k labor palang. saka nun ginawa buti nalang maayos pa yung timing belt ko makapal pa daw.
sa brake ko naman, bkit may sweeaakking sound tuwing nag brake ako, d ako lam yun sa bagong brake pad or anu dapat ayusin. kakainis sakit sa tenga.

    Sir,

yup, or else you pay double the labor. either way is ok naman as long as you don't claim a back-job from the shop when the waterpump eventually starts leaking.

7G Galant timing belt?
