Topless on the Road: Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster

As if the Aventador wasn’t hot enough already, Lamborghini wanted to make sure everyone is left dripping wet when they see this supercar. Needless to say, the Italian automaker has pushed the right buttons to whet the public’s appetite. Add a topless model to the lineup, what could be simpler? We mean, of course, the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster.

The roadster features a completely new engine hood with a central “spinal column,” which holds the two hexagonal side windows together. This is where form meets function. These windows serve to cool the engine, drain rain water properly, and show off the 6.5L V12 engine. Speaking of engine, passengers can now adjust how much of the engine’s roar they want to hear by putting the rear windshield up or down. Although, frankly, I don’t think the words “calm and quiet” and “Aventador” fit in the same sentence.
