I never measure the actual travelling needs. However, budget is something that I always keep a check on.
    good points!
the problem is, many of us do not know how to accomplish them.

    e.g.,
    confuse "want" for "need".
    over-estimate your financial abilities.
    mis-understand "financing options".
"why you need/want a car in the first place"?

and last, "where do i park it?"

Review your budget and find out how much you can afford as a monthly payment if you plan to take out a loan to help pay for the vehicle. Once you know how much money you have in your budget for a car payment, there are online calculators you can use to estimate how much car you can afford. It's smart to stick to the lower end of what fits comfortably into your budget to avoid problems making your loan payments over time.

    not fishy to me.
    more of, down-playing "deceptively easy".
excited buyers un-intentionally over-estimate some savings and under-estimate some expenses.
as someone already said here, "the easiest part in buying a car, is bringing it home".

Not this year... Probably not, too, next year.... even if our youngest has his eye on a couple of brands/models...

    Unless the company persuasively insists...

How do you plan on purchasing a new car?
The old school way, by saving up for it. Only using the money left over from all of my financial obligations and without using any of my investment funds.

I started saving for our current ride 5 years ago. LoL.

    Oh, resurrected pala yung thread.

I didn’t have any plans, because I got a new job and the place was far away from home, so I bought a car.
