Yung 5 major cities nila churned out half a million car/ year/ city! pero now kino-control na ng gov to 200K/yr.

For sure may mga surplus na galing dito sa China & most major brands ay may factory na dito & one good thing pag galing dito - left hand drive din sila, downside, di sila maingat sa mga car nila at very-very long distance drive sila dito sa China.

Puwede naman. As long as you pay customs fees. Your shipping agent can help you out. Is this for your personal use?

if you are bringing in a car that you are personally using abroad, last i checked, these are the requirements:

    1. proof of income abroad
    2. at least 6 months registration of the vehicle in your name
    3. at least 1 year residency abroad

with these, the tax rate of the car is that of a used one so it will be much less. however, if you lack even one of these requirements , seizure is automatic

there is a thread on this already here: http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15799

it's really not worth it sir, sa mga babayaran mo pwede ka ng maka bili ng isang magandang brand new car sa pinas,,, babayad ka ng freight forwarder sa port of origin where you reside, pagdating sa atin mga port fees, customs duties, VAT - value added tax , AVT - ad valorem tax, applicable yan when you import motor vehicle, tapos iipitin ka pa ng customs kahit nag submit ka na ng all required documents hihingan ka pa din ng padulas ng mga buwitre sa customs, heto pa mentras na tumatagal ang process ng kotse mo sa loob ng customs lumalaki ang storage fees mo, baka sa pag ka high blood mo sir eh i-donate mo na lang sa gobyerno car na inimport mo, this is true dahil sa bago po ako nag saudi sa customs brokerage po ako nag work at isa sa task ko eh ang mag expedite / ,mag release ng individually imported cars sa customs sa Manila po. Not Worth It!!! sa mga nag babalak!!!
