I have always wanted to work there dahil TAX FREE! At wala nyan sa States!

I was supposed to work there sa MidEast pero medyo nag-backout ang Misis ko. Hindi pa daw niya kaya na wala ako for 2 years so set aside muna. Siguro this coming year kung me makita uli na magandang work dyan.

Puro SAP ata ang mabenta dyan ah. Sa Web kasi ako nalinya eh.

    what to bring:

    1. winter clothes - malamig dyan kapag winter.

    what "NOT to bring:

    1. I don't recommend bringing CD-ROMs/diskettes or any form of data storage kasi binubusisi nila ito, abala ito sa pag-process sa Saudi Customs/Immigrations.

What they will do is confiscate it and view/check it for any form of illegal contents (like religious stuff or ****ography) and they will tell you to come back after a few days so you can claim it back if it does not contain anything illegal.

Now if this contains something that they (Saudis) deem illegal or inappropriate as per they're law or standard, they can trace your whereabouts and question you about it's contents.

Now, that's hassle di ba? You don't want that in Saudi, believe me.

    2. Do not bring "anything" pertaining to any religion other than Islam. This can cause delay/trouble. Although I have a crucifix in my wallet

    3. Do not bring magazines/reading materials that contains pictures of women who are not clothed properly or don't bring any magazines at all.

    4. If you will bring video tapes or anything similar, make sure that the tapes do not contain any form of nudity (like women in swimsuits) this will be confiscated for viewing and you will have the same problem as No. 1.

    5. If you will bring pictures of your wife and the Saudi Customs Police asked you who she is, tell the Asshole (Saudi Police) that she is your "Madame" (re Wife). Preferably bring a picture of your wife "with" your kids in the pic.

    6. Do not bring unusual foods.

Dont bring any Religious Items. ****ography materials/VCD's.
Limit your Audio Cd's or any Cd you would like to bring coz he is a first timer immigration will be more strict on him, they will check on every CD he would bring and it will be delay and waste of time on his part.
Your luggage should not be more than 20-30kgs. / hand carry should be less than 10kgs.
Advise him to bring CP (its essential) with a SMART Buddy Sim with roaming capability, roam on na nya bago sya aalis ng pinas, mas mura itong gamitin as a reciever ng Txt message coming from phils.
But dont bring a CP with Camera kasi they will confiscate it. ewan ba sabihin ba namang not allowed in the kingdom.
Kung meron syang kilalang merong Saudi Riyal currency, baon sya kahit SR50 lang ito ay para sa pagtawag lang sa kanyang company office just in case any delay on his part.
If you are first timer. never go out from the Airport, just stay as long as you can sa loob ng Airport and wait for your Company liaison officer to fetch you, or call your company office kaya advise him to get the contact info of the company from the agency in Pinas.
Am sure our kabayan will be happy to assist him on his way here.

    Have a safe trip.

    Cheers.

Well, in a way, yes tama yun. Higpit kasi sa Saudi.

Best talaga is U.A.E. and Bahrain.

Okay din sa Kuwait, not as strict as Saudi but not as okay compared to U.A.E. and Bahrain.

If I remember correctly, winter should be starting around late October up until March, someone correct me if I'm wrong, di ko na maalala eh.

Payo ko lang, habaan nya lang pasensya niya when he's dealing with different nationalities. Be observant, mapapansin nya naman yan eh.

Actually Winter starts Mid November up to May winter peak is on January
then summer na until October, summer peak is August super humid nyan.

Dito yung tinatawag na Detoxification Destination kasi walang alak. although meron pa rin mabibili homemade called "sadiki" kaso di ka sure if its safe for consumption.
Unlike Qatar UAE Bhahrain merong alak dyan. Syempre meron ding Church at di mahigpit.

Syempre naman makakaipon ka sa Saudi thats the main point there it will lessen your number of years being away from your family. Or the best thing kasama mo ang family and its better this way.

Ang maganda dito meron kang "IQAMA" like a passport ito para sa lahat either citizen or foreigner which serves as your identification, marami dito check points, tsaka at anytime pwede ka sitahin ng pulis then present your IQAMA this is to prevent illegal alien.

OT: Sana ganito dyan sa atin sa Pinas this way maging strict ang law enforcers. Mas fair ito sa mga good, law abiding citizens and unfair ito sa mga NPA, Criminals, Extremist Groups
Kaya mababa ang crime rate dito.
