i called nissan cabanatuan today to ask if i can buy the parts needed in converting the patrol to 4wd. i was told na hindi daw pwede because sa planta lang daw pwede mag convert. then i asked them pano kung meron nasirang parts dun, ang answer nya is kinukunan daw ng planta ang engine number/owner and part number. check daw ng planta sa database nila kung na-installan ako ng 4wd bago daw ako bentahan nung part na nasira. ang labo nila.

not familiar lang sa design ng 4wd system ng new patrol. but as long as naka 2H ka the prop shaft will just turn and no power will be transmitted. if i were you guys i will just look for a shifter and the propshaft from the surplus shops. the prop shaft for mga trucks only cost mga 2.5k surplus siguro mas mura ang sa patrol kase maliit lang.
ano ba model ng transmission ng new patrol? maybe you can look for transmission ng old patrol na auto with shifter and buy it as a whole. or look may mga chassis with engine and diffs na surplus moreor less than 100k buy the whole set and get what you need, the shifter, prop shaft and locking hubs and well the other maybe for 50k. suggestion lang.
