di ba if i turn the flange and the wheels turn, ibig sabihin gumagana yung mga gears sa loob? so how will power be transferred to the diff but not to the wheels?

Yes, tama ang theory mo. Why don't you open the gear oil fill hole for the front diff and shine a flashlight into it. Para makita mo kung may laman. While you're at it, poke your finger in to check kung may gear oil. Kasi kung walang oil, malabong may laman iyan.
If you confirm that power is indeed being trasferred to the driveshaft from the road wheels, then malamang nga may internals ang diff mo.

pero try ko nga i-check yung gear oil. pero sa pagkakaalala ko kung nagpapa-PMS ako sa casa, napalitan na ang gear oil ng diffs ko.
pero di ba the mere fact na umikot yung gulong when the flange is turned is indicative na meron ngang laman yung diff?Signature

ser boybi,
Hindi kaya ng matipuno kong katawan pihitin ang flange, eh Hehehe. Kaya yung opposite way ang naisip ko. Anyways, power flows both ways naman. Your only objective was to test if indeed there was a connection between the flange and the road wheels.

ito yung post ko yesterday:
when i turn one of the wheels, the other will not move, but the flange will rotate. if i turn the flange, both wheels will rotate in the same direction. when i turn one wheel while holding the flange steady, the other wheel will rotate in the opposite direction.Signature

Lumabas ka na kasi sa garahe at dukutin mo na! hehehe.
If you pull this conversion off, you will make history by shoving Nissan's 200K (and subcontracted pa!) conversion up their ass!

solve na ang front diff mo. problem mo na lang ay ang shifter. if you notice sa picture mo one side ay may parang guide that will turn the metal that sticks out, have you tried turning it with your finger if it moves just a bit. ano ba shift pattern ng patrol na 4wd. forgot to see last time na may nag pa kabit ng OME. naka straight ba, L or U. if ans sana the metal nga is the one for the transfer case, and it is directly below the hole for the 4wd sa console, i think you can buy na lang the short shift ng mga honda and have it machined to fit that metal, may parang guide siya sa side.

Hindi mo mapipihit by hand iyan just by grasping. You need some leverage. A vise or wrench siguro.
Kapag na-shoot mo sa 4L nakopow biglang bagal ang Patrol mo. hehehe.

I don't have proof but it seems like the CRV shrank from the previous generation.
