boybi::: That is why I always advise not to use 4WD on pavedroads even on flooded areas. Just drive in the opposite direction when you feel diff bind, and slowly straighten your steering.

Pinahirapan ko pa sarili ko, eto pala ang kumpletong explanation. How four wheel drive works

    boybi,

Open/open din ang diffs ko. Pero masaya naman ako diba?

Actually mas safe nga yan kasi hindi masyado stressed ang drivetrain. You may get stuck, but at least less ang risk mo of breaking halfshafts, burning clutches, etc.

May center diff lang ako to enable me to run 4H on-road. It does not help any in off-roading kasi ang locked center diff works in the same way as the direct drive transfer case of your Patrol or most other 4x4's today.

The low traction surface compensates kaya walang binding during off-roading. There is enough tire-slip so walang binding na magaganap.

Binding is a phenomenon on high traction surfaces only. Wala niyan on loose rocks, mud, lahar, sand etc.
