boybi-ok, just give me the details.
with regards sa 4wd conversion, here are my suggestions.
first, check your front diffs, may flange dyan for the driveshaft. jack up the front of the vehicle and rotate the tires, if the flange moves then the diffs are functioning, or it has internals.
second, uncover te shifter cover, if there is a way that you can shift the 4wd mech try to shift it, so that you may find out if an indictor will light up in the dash.
you dont need to transfer the diffs if the first and the second suggestions i made will be ok. all you need is the drive shaft and the shifter. with regards to the locking hubs, it is not that important, you have open front diffs, it would not bother with the vehicles handling. as long as the transmissin is in 2h its fine.

yes the flange is the one with i think four small holes, circle shaped at the back of the 3rd member.
yes if it spins you dont need the locking hubs, it is locked all the time.

In theory, yes. Kasi nga synchronised na ang rotation. But you still cannot use it on pavement.
Sa Pajero dati gumana naman iyang shift on the fly. Kasi lagi locked ang hubs nun.

You still cannot drive in 4H or 4L on paved roads is what I mean. Kasi mag-bind iyan if you turn.
But it will shift on the fly.

I don't have proof but it seems like the CRV shrank from the previous generation.
