Aanhin mo ang front hubs kung wala kang axles and oil seals sa loob? Kung kakahuyin mo naman baka kasi maymagkamali pa ng paglipat, 2 pa sasakyan nyo hindi tatakbo o may masira.
Teka, baka nga di rin pala pwede ang axle swap kung hindi pareho ng final gears ng GU vs. GQ.

Mas madali siguro kung kunin mo ang buong axle ng donor unit. Para hindi ka na maglipat ng internals. Bale yung ring and pinion gears mo na lang ang ililipat into the axle to be put in. Pero not every shop can swap r&p's. Hindi ba may ginagawa pang parang 'lashing' sa mga ganitong gears? Hindi ko lang sure ha.
Get the rear difflock na din.

Wala daw kasing laman yung 'bungo' sa harap. Yun lang naman ang basic problem. If you can find a shop that will trasfer the internals from one housing to the other, it would not be that hard.
Mura lang naman mga oil seals niyan. I think yung lang ang itatapon niyong parts in the process bukod sa needing new gear oil to fill the diff up.
Kahit sa future mo na kunin ang difflock.

Nasa loob nun ang differential mismo. Yung mga ring and pinion. Saka yung halfshafts papunta sa bawat gulong.
Dun din nilalagay ang diff locks or LSD.
