minsan lang ba, o madalas, o palagi? does the stuck starter interfere with the flywheel or not?
a good auto electrician should be able to find out if it is the switch or not. testing lang yan using simple meter.
the starter switch assembly is two parts in one: the key and tumbler mechanism, and the electrical contacts. WD40 will just fix tumbler sticking, but the electrical contacts are sealed and not reachable.
but the problem is, the symptoms may be intermittent. electrical intermittents are hard to troubleshoot.
the starter assembly is also in two parts: the starter armature, and the starter solenoid. both are not difficult to fix.

I don't think at that time it interfere with the flywheel, dahil minsan tumuloy namang mag-start nung kotse kaya lang yung nag-stuck up yung starter.
