mga sir, ako rin po may problema rin po radiator ko, i tried driving from cavite to makati, muntik na ako maoverheat, buti nakita ko umaangat na yugn temperature, puno yun ng tubig bago ako umalis, tapos may sumisingaw sa may bandang grill, upper left side ng logo nung nissan, newbiw palang ako sa mga maintenance, this is my first car, got it a month ago, 2nd hand. anong suggestions nyo po, salamat po ng marami sa mga tutulong

try mo boss pa overhaul yung radiator mo baka marerepair pa tapos check mo na rin kung may ibang leak pa sa cooling system ng car mo.

overheat is not always related to the radiator. bago mo pa-overhaul radiator mo, check mo muna yung radiator cap. na-overheat narin ako, so drain coolant (1year na kasi) and check for leaks (wala). overheat parin. then when replacing the lost new coolant due to overheat, napansin ko wala ng pressure yung spring ng radiator cap. pinalitan ko cap and never had overheat again. our engine cooling system needs to be kept pressurized for proper operation.

Ive noticed that when your coolant reservoir has no cap the water easily evaporate .

the coolant reservoir is not pressurized, may vent nga yan actually meaning atmospheric pressure lang sya. kung mabili s maubos laman ng coolant reservoir mo, it means only na nireplenish lang nya yung lost coolant sa radiator mo or the coolant is rather old na and not effective.
