drexx: you have a point there. us made suv's tend to be oversized gas guzzlers with limited off roading capability. more on bling bling kasi.
napaisip lang ako kung bakit patrol are being sold in asia as well as in europe but not in the us. whatever the reason buti na lang pala.
i dont think the new pajero is nalanta. baka malamya lang, to put it more gently.

The U.S. have better roads than we do here, guess the companies figured they'll get more people to buy their SUVs if the suspensions were tweaked to favor on-road ride rather than off-road capability.

October 12th, 2004 05:10 AM #27I once read in an article sa INQ that a balikbayan brought home a US expedition and bought another one locally. As it turned out, according to him, the US made Expe is heavier in handling and there were some parts that the local one lacked.
The Armada here is one of the baddest looking SUV for me, IMHO.
