    Greetings,

Nalunod siguro, kase sobrang hard starting nga noon.

Chances are it is either a blown head gasket or warped head. To know for sure, a mechanic will have to remove the top of the engine.

But I am not familiar with any shops in your area. SPEEDLAB or SPEEDYFIX could do the job though.

Prior to the problem happening, how was the car maintained? Change oil regularly? Did you allow it to overheat? Driving habits? A compression test would determine what has to be done. Was the pressure drop using both the wet and dry test?

Avoid the Banawe tambays. Best to go to a shop then have them diagnose what has to be done, have them list down the needed parts then you go to Banawe to buy.

Yes everyone ahs budget concerns but don't make it a reason to shortcut the repairs on your ride as it may just cost you more in the long run. A properly maintained GA engine like what you have on the Verita can go a very long way without needing an overhaul as long as it has been maintained properly and serviced/repaired when needed (even with redline driving from time to time).

For parts, check out shops like Youngbros and Yen in Banawe and JAISI along E. Rod (near the Araneta Ave. intersection if you're coming from St. Lukes.
