Nissan Pathfinder SUV available next year?

Sa SUV no plans about bringing in (so far) the pathfinder.

pero just to give you guys something to talk about ang suv that they are planning to bring in is the Armada. I think kasi dapat nang palitan yung body ng patrol kasi mejo tagal n sya. Baka ito ang ipalit nila (parang yung nangyari sa cefiro when they brought in the teana). Balita ko rin ipapasok nila dito ang latio. so far yun ang balita sa mga ipapasok soon. for the xtrail and sentra sori mejo hintay p tyo ng matagal for a new body. say hope for 2010 for a new body kasi ala daw talaga new body for 2009 for the sentra and xtrail.

nice to hear theyre planning to bring in the Armada as well.

But there's already a new Patrol (see other thread). Sounds more logical, considering its following in the country. Wonder when will they bring this here, knowing our local nissan.

regarding the sentra, im still dreaming they built this in the region, USDM sentra, i wont mind even it is already old.

but most probably they will bring here the Sylphy (rebadged as Sentra here?)


there's the new body for the xtrail too. I think its too early for them to develop a new one.


so no plans for the pathfinder? Nissan needs catch up, they need Fortuner-class SUV's (and vios-class vehicles too)

I really like the Bluebird (Sentra/Sylphy). It looks upscale. How many horses does it have? Anyone?

If that's the case then I'd settle for the everest instead. The armada is too big for me and my budget.

Armada? bumagsk benta niyan sa US, hindi kaya dito nila susubukan ibenta yung mga tira nila?

The Armada? That should be one of the last they bring to the RP market where people consider a 2 liter engine a gas guzzler. Imagine what a 5.6L V8 will get in Metro Manila traffic. Besides it would be a short term model since the next generation Titan will be based on the Dodge Ram since Nissan is not developing a new one. The Ram has no SUV derivative for them to base the next gen Armada on so it will probably die a natural death.

Regarding sa dumping ground hindi naman tayo ganun. Sa case ng Nissan builders dito they have to liquidate muna all theyre inventories bago sila makapaglabas ng bagong model. this is the case why the sentra and xtrail di pa napapalitan. marami pa inventory nito ang nissan motors phil inc (sila gumagawa ng passenger cars). hopefully sa 2010 lumabas n yung bagong body pero sa 2009 mejo malabo p. anyway tungkol dun sa chismis nung nag umpisa nung thread mejo dagdagan ko lang. after our sales meeting a couple of weeks ago sa nissan westgate the news is maglalabas ng bagong SUV ang UMC. its a smaller SUV than the Patrol. Cancelled na ata yung Armada dito dahil nga sa last study nila mejo may trauma na tayo pinoys sa "makinang matakaw" which is the reason why SUVs like expedition ay drastically humina benta. so inshort expect na may lalabas na balita about a new SUV smaller than the patrol. hulaan nyo na lang kung anung model kasi kahit kami sa dealer di rin namin alam ehehehehehehe.

Late introduction of car models doesn't mean it's ugly, worst garbage dumped by nissan here. Facelifted yes. But worst and ugly? I disagree with that. Hope your former statements agree with your last post.

just bring in the navarra based suv xterra!!!!! to fight with the strada base suv montero sport, hi lux bases suv fortuner, dmax base suv alterra. the 3 manufacturers has been doing it, so it's about time nissan does it too. imagine an suv with 2.5liter displacement but packs a 170hp engine, and if it comes out with 6 speed......it'll be a best seller for nissan just like when the xtrail first came out in 2005. the xterra is more realistic than the pathfinder or armada.

di ba mas mahal ang Xterra kesa sa Pathfinder?? i know Xterra has a different platform, suited for off-roading like the FJ Cruiser (main rival)... i've seen the two SUVs in flesh when i visited US, iba ang aura ng Xterra sa Pathfinder, mas brusko...

Pathfinder is based on Navara... so i guess ito ang ilalabas nila...
