NUng nagpakabit ako ng Necvox ay inalok ako Goldrich ng mudguard, meron na raw sila but during that time ay wala pang budget for mudguard kaya di ako nag-inquire kung magkano. Definitely mero yun sa Banawe kasi parang Generics model tulad ng rain visor ni 2youta Nissan brand kaya fit sa GL.

Standard napo ba sa lahat ng dealer na freebie nadin ang 3yrs LTO.

Sa Makati dealership kasi free nadin 3 yrs LTO..

im not yet sure kung standard na ba sa lahat ng dealership yong free 3 yrs. registration, if that's true then kagatin nyo na yan malaking bagay na rin yong 10k na registration fee. Sana man lang hinintay ng NMPI until next year bago sila magdecide na ifree yong registration, hindi pa nga yata nila nabigyan ng refund yong ibang mga GL owners until now tapos ngayon nilibre na nila:mad:, desperate ba yong NMPI sa sales nila sa GL kaya nila nilibre yong registration after 4 months it was launched or natakot lang sila sa bagong labas na innova. haaayyyyy!!!

Kuha ko na pala refund ko from NGQA, may pambili nako ng mudguard and rain visor sa Banawe.

*2youta, update naman sa 5K service, nagpalit ba ng oil and how much?

hello all!

finally i was able to register/login here at tsikot. i was trying everything yesterday but i guess they were doing server maintenance.

anyway, i did some backreading (from last page to page 19) and i'm really glad you all are loving your GLs. i just requested one myself using our company car plan. 1.8 m/t, blue with rear spoiler and fog lamps. its still in the process of approvals, signatures etc so i think i will be getting that either before the end of the month of early next month.

we test drove both m/t and a/t versions and, since we are very used to the stick shift, the wife and i preferred the m/t over the a/t. and with a 6-speed transmission, we know that there will be exciting driving times ahead.

4 years ago we owned a mitsubisihi spacewagon. after that we went for the honda jazz. but now that the family is getting bigger, it is just logical to shift to a bigger car again. so we went shopping around for a nice but affordable vehicle that compares to the spacewagon.

looked at the innova, but design-wise, i just could not see myself drving one (tested using my in-law's a/t version). the avanza is cheap and you feel it when you're inside one (tried out my officemate entry level unit). the carens was too high for our budget. heard not so good things about the fuzion and i dont really like the design. so it was the livina that was left. when i first saw it at NGQA it reminded me of my spacewagon right away. (i loved that car btw).

so after testing both configs, we are now just waiting for our new car to arrive. my GL wishlist:

1. 3rd row seat should have the option to be split in two, so you can have one person sitting there and a folded seat for more space for luggage etc.

2. steering wheel could look better, maybe thicker at least for better grip.

other than those two minor gripes, i know that we will be happy with the livina.

does anyone here have a budget idea for the 18" concept one rims plus tires? would those be safe to drive in our city's roads?

while backreading i remember someone posting something about a smell after driving his GL. i experienced this when we tested the a/t version. i was really pushing it, trying to see how fast it can accellerate, then when we stopped, we all smelled something like burning plastic or oil. the guy from nissan said that it was normal since it was still on break in period. we never noticed this on the m/t version though.

well thats it for now. i will continue backreading up the the first page, and will check this thread and your GLs everyday. thanks for sharing your experiences.
