Re my experience with aircon of Grand Livina... when I joined the quality team during their test runs, 5 in a car with baggage, aircon reached all the way to the back. Comfortable cooling siya. Again with 5 people on board, suspension was solid yet smooth negotiating the backroads of Tarlac, Nueva Ecija and Pangasinan all the way up to Baguio.

Try also reading the write-up by Francis Pallarco in the August issue of C! magazine. I was with them during a Baguio run, hence the photos came from me. hehehe

thanks for the reply... we will see the unit up close and sched for a test drive. siguro because of the low headroom kaya hindi na naglagay ng second fan, just a thought.

*welscua the anomaly is not just for the Grand Livina, Ive just reviewed the LTO vehicle registration schedule of fees vs the quotes from dealers. It seems that most dealership have padded LTO regsitration quotes which perhaps goes to this "facilitation fee".

Something smells like crap here.

Bro, tama ka dyan, ang masakit lang mas mahal ang LTO ng GL compared to Fortuner, Innova, and other higher end vehicles...What is so special with GL (LTO registration aspect)? And until now wala man lang maibigay na definite reason ang NMPI, buti na lang we have friend like Mikko David who is very eager in supporting GL owners. Thanks again Sir Mikko.

dai - basahin mo mga unang part nitong thread--isa ako sa mga nagcocoment about that. tapos by the middle, it was laid to rest, malalaman pa pagdating ng summer--utak ng nissan na ilabas ng tag-ulan para di mapansin flaw na yun, despite na may dedicated vent nga daw cya directing cold air to the ceiling.. lalo siguro yung mga naka leather option mararamdaman to...

Hmmm... I don't really see it as a flaw. Perhaps more of an innovation. What's wrong with simplifying a design to make it more efficient? Less eletricals, less load on the engine, less breakage, less maintenance.

Many rear blowers are just that... blowers. They suck in cold air from the front and throw it to the back. To me that's just extra piece of maintenance or possible source of wear and tear.

Why don't you try to test drive one in the middle of the noon time sun and see how the GL's aircon works? Only you can decide if it's a good design or not naman. That's why they offer test drives.

*gergeray, congrats on your new ride, taga cebu diay ka bay? originally i'm from cebu, sa mandaue ako lumaki nakapag-asawa lang ng taga manila wala kasing makita diyan. Try mo sa CFG bay sa may banilad before gaisano country mall, malaki yang car accessories na yan baka mayron na sila. palechon ka naman bay, lechon, lechon, lechon!!!!!!!!! (the best yong lechon diyan)

Btw heres the pic of the plastic matting for the luggage, i bought this at Blade around 700, kinortihan ko lang para magkasya and it extends up to the 2nd row.

i am planning to change my wheels into a bigger one kc bahain dito eh, biruin mo one day hangang 2hod ang baha d2 pero sugod pa rn ang GL half nlng cguro ng GL ang nkkta ng mga tao, buti nlng hindi kmi natirik

*gongrhey, i found this picture from the livinaclub in malaysia and i'v read that some of them installed this air blower+air purifier in thier GL, sabagay mas mainti kasi dun bat this blower thing is really design for toyota wish in taiwan, toyota wish is also a 7 seater mpv panlaban nila sa GL in taiwan. you can try to search this blower in alibaba.com i think nasa $100 to.

*all: thanks, at sa mga nagdadalawang isip jan sa issue ng aircon ng GL, para sa akin the best talaga ang nissan GL kasi noong kinuha namin tong unit mga magtatanghali na nun kaya akala ko di makakayanan ng aircon tapos lima pa kaming sakay (adult) pang anim ang 9months old kong baby. tapos ang brother ko umupo sa 3rd row at take note 5'6 cya, sabi nya baka d raw siya magkasya pero ng sinubukan nya maganda raw ang 3rd row ok ang legroom pwede pa raw tabihan cya ng 5'8 hahaha... tapos ng tanungin ko tungkol sa aircon kung umabot, abut na abut, kasi itinutok ko sa itaas ang center vent.

tanung ko lang, ok lang ba lagyan ng roof rack ang GL natin? sino na ba nagpalagay d2?

OK yan bro compared sa carpet matting kasi mas madali linisin yan, Sang Blade mo nabili, kasi may Blade din sa Trinoma, ilang square meter ba kasya sa cargo bay ng GL?
