btw, ive seen a GL along makati ave yesterday morning color blue, medyo sumama lang ung likod kasi nilagyan pa ng "MANTRADE" just below the grand livina, which i think he got the unit in Nissan pasong tamo (mantrade). buti nalang sa akin walang "GALLERY" sa likod. hahahaha!

been seeing this thread but its my 1st time to go in and actually take a look...
even saw the you tube comparison with the innova and i should say that this nissan mpv points out two basic points:
1. the most vehicle features in the RPDM market that satisfies world market standards at very competitive price (e.g. fold flat 2nd & 3rd row seats, amazingly shorter braking distance, decent power with a supposed compact car fuel consumption, etc.)
2. makes the innova features relatively obsolete
just trying to state what i feel is kinda obvious and not trying to flame bait here... :peace:

I have posted earlier that the best seat in the house (GL) was the 3rd row, I was wrong. Actually it was the most feared seat by my kids now. Why? Yesterday, na-late kami ng uwi from MOA (inabot na kami ng gabi), my teenage daughter was occupying the 3rd seat alone and was watching her DVD player, believe me, when you're alone and it's dark in the 3rd row and the car is tinted, you have your own world in that area (less noise and less bumps). We were somewhere in Marikina area and the place was dark; I told my wife a story about a horror film regarding white lady. I told her sometimes the driver after looking at the rearview mirror, saw a white lady occupying the backseat. Upon hearing this my daughter started screaming and tried to transfer to 2nd row occupied by my two sons. And there was commotion inside the car and ceiling lamp was turned-on, etc.... My God! I know passengers of PUJs were looking on us bec. my daughter was really afraid and trying to leave the 3rd row...
Now our GL is slowly becoming a part of our family life. When I go back to Yemen tomorrow, definitely I will surely miss our GL. I've been used in not seeing my family for one month but for our GL, I need to adjust definitely. Hehehe... sorry sa OT
SHARING IS CARING.....

Hmmm.... a good mod for the long antenna is to replace it with the antenna from the X-Trail.

I don't think Nissan Grand Livina have a safety rating. As safety ratings are only required for vehicles sold in countries that require them. I think they are using the Nissan Latio 6-Star JNCAP safety Rating for the Grand Livina as they are from the same platform. but still, it is not the same.
The 3 widely used safety rating standard in the world i.e. Euro-NCAP, Japanese Standard and American Standard.
Countries where the Livina is available are China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, South Africa.
