12 kms/liter is good to a 7 seater MPV. Do you think using a high octane gasoline is more efficient than those with low octane like unleaded? Some are saying that unleaded gasoline evaporates quicker than premium gasoline.

    What do you think?

*Zbrando--For me the higher the octane the better, very smooth and quick ang acceleration nya, ang gaang nya, the GL becomes lighter hence ang bilis nya sumibat kaya konting tapak lang sa gas and it would give u the power that u need. Since nag switch ako dto sa seaoil 97 ayoko na ng ibang brand gasoline. Sa Mindanao ave na seaoil ang pinaka mura ko na kita kaya lagi ako dun nag papalagay. Try it mga bosing and see the difference. Sa price mas mahal pa nga minsan ang unleaded ng ibang brand na 93 octane lang. This is one thing that i recommend.

i agree with sir chualie, ever since i got my GL i started using petron XCS (before kasi hindi pa siya E10). but when petron decided to mix XCS with ethanol i decided to use blaze naman. mas pino nga ang takbo and mas reponsive. nung tumataas ulit yung price ng gas, i decided to try petron unleaded. ayun ang sama ng takbo tapos ang bilis bumagsak talga ng fuel gauge and ang baba ng mileage ko. i guess tama din yung sinasabi nila na me tendency mag-evaporate yung E10.

on my M/T GL im getting 10-11 kms per liter mixed hi-way and city driving. i haven't tried it on pure hi-ways lang. pero i can say that based on the brochure it is achievable naman.

I'm not expecting 12-15 kms/liter as stated above but I want to have at least 10 kms/liter. I hope my FC will improve after the break-in.

By the way who has the highest FC here?? For manual and matic
My 2008 Livina Mid A/T with 13k mileage, averages at 9.3 to 9.7 kms per liter. Pure city driving via EDSA (hence, medyo ma-traffic). Medyo light footed, below 2,000 rpm ang average ko.
