hi, our GL A/T mid Black will arrive tomorrow, i'm super excited, we got it from Nissan Shaw

si hubby hindi mahilig magbasa ng forums, kaya ako na lang, chinichika ko na lang sakanya lagi ang mga nababasa ko dito. thank you all sa lahat ng mga share infos nyo

Anyway, what dealer did you go to? I went to Mantrade and was pretty happy with my freebies and they were very accommodating. I'm getting an MT (hopefully) and wanted to try it.. so... they took out the one on display in the showroom so I could test drive it :D

Didn't received any PM's eh yesterday.. I was OL at YM all day..

Sa Mantrade ka nakakuha?? sino Sales Assistant mo.. Kasi sa Mantrade din ung SA ko eh..

Good morning mga ka GL. I was able to drive a honda city 1.5 2010. Na compare ko lang hindi ganun ka solid ang manibela ng GL natin. Parang mas maraming vibrations akong nararamdaman sa GL. Ako lang kaya? Anyway, due ko na for 15k pms. Ano ba mga hinihigpitan during 15k pms?

Hello fellow GL owners. This is my first time to post a message here. My wife used to post messages to this thread (younis). Our GL is the mid-variant (a/t) purchased mid last year in Westgate Alabang and we are very happy with it. Isa lang ang negative na masasabi ko about our unit, smoke from other cars or any ambient smoke / outside ambient air easily makes its way inside the car. Reading from the posts here, I've learned how to remedy it and so far ayun tinakpan ko lang yung dalawang vents sa harap. Facing the GL in front, lagyan ko ng Duct Tape yung left vent, then the vent in the middle, I stuck a big foam, para wag naman ma defeat yung purpose of having that vent, as in any time pwede mag suck ng air sa labas. Naisip ko lang having that foam there will not totally block air from comming in, at least it will only allow air to flow inside when the fan dedicatedly suck in air from that vent. Na-bring up ko na din ito sa binilhan namin - Nissan Westgate Alabang, they checked it and said ok naman daw. I insisted, sabi ko kung mapapansin nila, when placing the air flow switch to get air from outside, you can clearly hear a "thug" at the end indicating na na reach nya yung maximum opening limit nya, pero pag nilagay mo sa air-recirculation, maririnig mo lang is a "sliding" sound and no "thug" at the end. So sabi ko, my assumption is, hindi lumalapat ng tama yung window sa pagsara. Then, finally, advise nila is iwan ko GL sa kanila for 2 days at kelangan i-pull down yung buong dash dahil hindi kaya silipin lang from the glove-box side. Then from there, tignan nila what they can do about it.

Unfortunately, we are still finding time para iwan si GL dun, and told them we will schedule it as soon as time permits us.

Please let me know if majority of us here are experiencing this problem with their unit, naisip ko lang maybe we could have a collective complain sa Nissan about the air quality issue, bigyan nila ng pansin and hopefully prompt them not to recall but rather provide a permanent fix for all GL owners at future owners nito.

Baka kasi yung iba meron din ganitong problem pero di lang napapansin masyado, like my father, di sya sensitive sa amoy ng usok ng sasakyan at normal lang daw yun (sanay kasi kami mag bus na di aircon at jeep talaga dati hehehe). This concerns me a lot at delikado malulong sa masamang hangin - carbon monoxide - especially I have an 11 month old baby na sumasakay kay GL.

Halos lahat ng GL owner dito ay ganyan ang napansin at reklamo. Balewala ang air recirculation switch sa dash board natin because of this issue. Temporary solution lang ang ang mga ginawa natin na dapat ma address ng Nissan.

first time car owners din kami, 2 days pa lang si gl namin, kapag po ba binalik ito sa nissan pwedeng sila na gumawa ng paraan para dito? hindi ko pa naman actually naamoy pero hanggat maaga sana pagawan na namin ng paraan.

siguro mas mainam nga na iraise ito sa Nissan kasi halos lahat ay ganito ang problem

Tama ka dyan pre... halos lahat ng GL owners yan ang reklamo kasama na ako don... kaya ang ginawa ko dinala ko sa Nissan Quezon Ave. Sabi ko may pumapasok na usok sa loob..

Ang ginawa nila tinignan nila ung vent mismo, napansin nga nila na hindi masyado nakalapat ung vent, kaya ini-adjust nila ung vent.. Nung ma-adjust, nag test sila kung kasaling may usok na madadaan. ayon wala na usok na pumapasok..
