Planning to buy GL 1.8 Manual next year 2010....anyone can give advise? FC & GL status after a year of using your GL?

just got back from tagaytay with the GL & the ride experience was wonderful

suspension was great, power was there, breaking is effective (we got cut by a speeding PUJ turning left to coastal rd which is in the right of our lane)

at sa dami ng innova na nakita ko wala akong nakitang kapwa livina sa daan

Currently in Tagaytay area for a much deserved R & R. Just came across 3 GL's this afternoon, 2 in SLEX and 1 in Tagaytay. Dumadami na rin ang GL's on the road. Problem at times, me mga drivers who don't like being passed by my GL so they floor it when I try to overtake. Pinababayaan ko na lang sila kasi I just want to reach my destination safely and have no time to accept a childish challenge like that. Hopefully some of our fellow drivers see an overtaking move as a friendly one since I don't see the logic of a driver flooring the gas in order to prevent another vehicle overtaking him and what it would eventually prove. My advise to our co-GL tsikoteers, be extra careful nowadays and drive responsibly.

My GL is now 1 year and 6 months. Max speed I reached was 140 kph in SCTex but it was my limit and not GL. Tested twice the ABS, worked perfectly. 1 month daily used then 1 month tengga lang sa bahay, so far no problem. Brought my GL to Subic, Tagaytay, Tarlac, Antipolo, Timberland Heights, never akong nabitin sa akyatan. FC is around 9kpl city driving and up to 14 kpl sa hi-way. very comfy ride compare to other MPV. A/C? Until now I haven't encounter any problem, not even reach max setting kahit fully loaded and during summer. You won't even hear the engine when you are in idle.

Ayaw ko lang is the headunit plus yung beige color ay medyo dumihin lalo pag may mga bata.

But better, test drive mo GL and other brands para ma-appreciate mo sya lalo.

wow... that's nice... mukang ok pla GL...i read some owners comments sa gl may rottle sa front left wheel kapag dinaan sa simple ramps?

Pati NMPI na tumingin sa unit walang explanation sa problema kaya di nila alam ayusin. They tested all Livina units sa dealership, pati na rin yung test drive unit nila and lahat may front left rattle. Sabi nila malamang it's because of the EPS assembly daw. Is this true GL owners?

Kung di nmn totoo mapapa GL na ako nxt year nito.

sir, got mine last october lang (M/T). so far, very happy kami. medyo mahirap lang nga i-maintain yung inteior nya.

have not heard any rattle sounds on my left side and nabasa ko din yun sa link na posted mo before when i was reading about the GL.

our GL's FC is usually around 10kms/li mixed hi-way and traffic. tapos pag pure hi-way naman nasa 13kms/li naman kami. nasa 2.5k palang natakbo ng GL namin :D

Actually meron nga kalampag specially pag front wheel yung nakaangat sa ramp but more sa right side yung sa amin. Noticed this 1st week pa lang ng GL namin. Pero mas madalas naman na hindi lumalabas yung kalampag. Had the casa check this during 1km PMS wala din nakita. Nag bolt tightening sila and checked the exhaust pipes kung sumasayad. Walang nakita. Pero since then hindi ko na naririnig yung kalampag lately.

Go ka na sa GL but my advise is choose your SA and CASA well.
