Congratulations to all new Grand Livina owners!!!!
Looking forward to share the road with you guys
So far, we're still pleased and satisfied with our GL purchase. Like what you've posted, very comfy ride, super gaan ng steering, nice interiors, and takaw tingin on the outside! naks!
We've tested the A/C up to the third row (though 'twasn't sunny during those days)... nevertheless, it we have nothing to complain. di pa full yun, i think hanggang 3rd setting lang.
Legroom is just right. Not too big, not too small. (except of course if you're really big framed). Otherwise, for me and my family, legroom and seating capacity is okay. Usually, it's me, my wife, 3 year old daughter, yaya and my in-laws who ride during the weekends. And we're quite satisfied with the ride.
What we're trying to test right now is their claimed fc which we cannot seem to meet (was that ranging between 15 to 26km/li?). First full tank, 8.9km/li lang kami. And that was mixed city-highway driving. 2nd full tank was disappointingly 6.9km/li lang (pure city drive). We're half-way our 3rd full tank and mukhang 7km/li din ang kalalabasan if pure city drive. We're probably averaging 7.5km/li since the purchase. Though our dealer was saying the optimal performance of its engine can be best seen after the first 1,000 kms. We're really hoping this is true. Plus the fact that we're also still adjusting to it.... especially since our previous car was manual and not automatic. If any of you can give us tips on how to best conserve fuel on an automatic transmission, we'd really appreciate it.
We're hoping to reach at least 10km/li para pareho lang ng altis namin dati. It was one of our considerations pa man din when we bought it. So, para rin palang innova (manual transmission) ang fc but with a lower displacement....
Hopefully, we'll get better fc results in the long run. Sana......
Looking forward for fc posts of the other GL owners out there.... and tips too....!
See you guys on the road!!!

Fuel economy on an automatic, basta during stops wag mong iwan sa D tapos naka-apak lang sa break, ilagay mo sa N just as you would with a manual. Tapos (it takes practice and familiarity with the car) a light foot would really help a lot. Dapat malaman ano yung tamang feel ng apak that would make the car accelerarte smoothly but shift gears by the time it reaches 2000-2500 RPM.

Nag full tank nako kanina, we will see after few days about my FC. Yeah, the legroom in 3rd row is not that small and big, yun nga lang yung entry and exit mo ay you need a little effort compared with other MPV.
I used to drive a lancer box type A/T kaya medyo familiar nako sa A/T response. Pag sanay ka sa manual ay puro rev ang mangyari then mag-suffer ang FC. Anyway, we will see after few days for FC and A/C of 3rd row.

+1! Ever since coming back from our trip to Baguio and merely getting 10.1km/liter, I got dismayed so I changed my driving habit of superfast acceleration to mild, and got an amazing additional 2km/liter FC
in CITY DRIVING!! My ride still shifts after going a little past 2100rpm and drops to around 1800rpm (yata, basta, smooth ang shifting. hehe).
I am planning on going on a long trip and restraining myself to not go past 80kph and see what FC I'll get. Maybe even try staying at 2000rpm final gear the next long distance trip. My best 95% highway FC (SFP to Subic and back via NLEX-SCTEX) is only 12km/liter, fully loaded, sustained speed at 110-120kph, maxed at 145kph for a few seconds, taking 30seconds to reach it from 100kph, I think (para di mapansin ni misis, hehe), and quickly decelerating back to 120kph...
Please do give us feedback. Thanks...

For me, the problem with automatics ay medyo mabagal ang acceleration pag hindi mo tapakan ng mabuti. kaso pag bigatan naman ang paa, bababa ang FC.
so cool lang dapat. hinay hinay ang acceleration. sa zz namin pag nakapag accelerate na, medyo bumibitaw ako sa gas para mag upshift then dahan-dahan kong tatapakan ang gas. for the same speed, bababa ang rpm.
when accelerating, I limit my self to 2,500 rpm.
we get 11 to 13 km per liter sa 1.6 A/T ZZ. limiting the top speed also helps the FC. 80 kph is a good speed as a personal limit para tipid sa gas.
