First and foremost, I am a Nissan enthusiast too. But I can't help but to criticize the name of this ride. 'Coz when we talk of "Grand" , we assume that the size is bigger etc . . . IMHO, hindi bagay ang badge nya. Sana, LIVINA na lang.
Yun lang po ...

Bro.. Grand doesn't always mean big.
1. impressive in size, appearance, or general effect, like grand mountain scenery. 2.stately, majestic, or dignified: In front of an audience her manner is grand and regal. 3.highly ambitious or idealistic: grand ideas for bettering the political situation. 4.magnificent or splendid: a grand palace. 5.noble or revered: a grand old man. 6.highest, or very high, in rank or official dignity: a grand potentate. 7.main or principal; chief: the grand ballroom. 8.of great importance, distinction, or pretension: a man used to entertaining grand personages. 9.complete or comprehensive: a grand total. 10.pretending to grandeur, as a result of minor success, good fortune, etc.; conceited: Jane is awfully grand since she got promoted. 11.first-rate; very good; splendid: to have a grand time; to feel grand. 12.Music. written on a large scale or for a large ensemble: a grand fugue.
Siguro sa ibang meaning ng Grand puede na yung Livina.

I missed my GL when I am driving my service here inYemen, a Toyota D4D 4X4 Hilux pick-up. One time kala ko sira yung transmission kinakapos ako sa 30 degree slope kahit naka 2nd gear. I didn't notice naka half-engaged pala yung handbreak. Unlike sa GL, you will hear continuous beep sound pag naka-engaged pa yung handbreak then moving ka, nice safety feature.

August 31st, 2009 03:08 AM #1670Hi pips! I'm about to order (actually naorder na, signing of Auto Loan papers na lang) a Nissan Grand Livina!
I'm from Marikina and obviously the nearest Nissan dealer is the one at Libis.. however, we approached and checked the car first at Nissan Balintawak and out of courtesy to the friendly and hardworking salespersons there, we're getting the Livina from their branch. Now I want to ask, am I going to regret this decision later on? Example, I would most probably go to the nearest Nissan kasa for repairs... are their advantages to getting it from Nissan Libis and going there regularly for future repairs or can I just drop by and get the usual service even when I bought my Livina from another branch?
Also, the branch at Balintawak is asking me kindly to consider their Auto insurance (I think its Prudential, not sure though). I hope it's an ok auto insurance...
