Any other feedback between Innova and Grand Livina?
We're planning on buying an new car kasi in the near future. Although I'm leaning towards the GL. It has to be automatic too. Blush
Di din naman sya magiging daily driver kasi once a year lang naman kami magkakpatid umuwi ng Pinas and meron naman isa pang car kung sakali di kakasya ang buong family.
Most of the time si misis lang ang gagamit with my 2 kids and my mom.
At first, Sportivo yung choice namin pero too pricey for the specs considering luma na pati makina.
Feedback naman and advise.

Sa harap lang pala ang AC ng Livina? Any experience sa hindi umabot ang lamig sa likod?

August 9th, 2009 12:01 AM #1604Never happened but of course kung todo ang init, minimum setting is 2 sa fan blower. Anyway I never experienced anyone complaining about the aircon on my GL even when it was steaming hot outside. There is an addtional vent above the adjustable vents sa center console which intentionally directs air to the ceiling and bounces to the 3rd row to allow cooling. Its kinda cool how nissan designers thought about that and successfully implementing it without adding additional blowers.

Thanks for the reply lydemer. Yun lang kasi ang downside na nakita ko sa GL, sad to say, very vital equipment pa ng sasakyan.

its not a real downside na nasa harap lang ang aircon. from my experience it is freezing cold inside (esp night time or raining) in fact nagkakaroon pa ng moisture sa may windows and windshield ng livina, that proves na malamig ang aircon ng livina.
i have tried using it in broad daylight din, malamig din siya pero hindi macocompare ang lamig if your driving during night time.
meron din naman siyang adjustment for the aircon eh, ung magkakaroon ng aircon sa paaso meron na sa face meron na sa paa so aabot nga siya talaga sa likod ng livna
hope this helps

Same here, more than a year na ang GL ko, wala pang ring complain sa a/c. Actually, complain nga ni misis masyado na raw malamig sa harap pag nasa 2 na ang fan setting. In the long run ay mas OK pa ang maintenance ng a/c ng GL, just open the front panel and everything will be accessible , unlike yung may 2nd row vent kasi additional area yun sa maintenance ng a/c.
Again, here in yemen, ang service namin ay Toyota Land Cruiser Wago and Toyota HiLux, all of them ay front a/c lang, imagine 45 degC outside pero kaya naman.
SHARING IS CARING.....

August 9th, 2009 12:08 PM #1608I never thought of it as a downside but I respect your opinion. Being a driver myself I never really had the chance to seat in the 3rd row but I always got complaints from my son to lower the blower speed to 1 since its damn cold when set to 2 or 3 even during very hot days. The aircon is so good that the GL can cool the entire cabin under 5 minutes even after leaving it parked under the sun.
